About Us
Hello! We are two passionate educators committed to fostering resilience and grit in the classroom. Over time, we’ve noticed a growing sense of apathy among students when it comes to both life and learning, and we’re determined to change that. We’ve seen how perseverance, a growth mindset, and emotional strength can transform students into confident, resourceful problem-solvers.
Let’s get real—life and learning can be tough. Some days are harder than others, and things might not go as planned. But here’s the truth: Resilience—the ability to bounce back when things get tough—is a skill you can build. Whether it's math, sports, writing, or simply dealing with tough moments, developing resilience requires hard work, grit, and the right mindset.
This is where the Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills come in. These skills focus on how we learn: problem-solving, critical thinking, staying motivated, and working well with others. They empower students to face challenges head-on, stay focused, and find ways to grow even in difficult situations. And this is exactly what we want to help teachers and students achieve.
Recognizing the lack of resources to support students in developing resilience and grit, we decided to create tools that equip teachers with the necessary resources. Our mission is to provide practical resources that empower educators and parents to teach ATL skills. We’ve designed videos and weekly prompts to help students set goals, reflect on their decisions, and embrace challenges. These resources are meant to cultivate resilience, determination, and the confidence to succeed.
We believe resilience isn’t just a trait—it’s a skill that can be strengthened with practice. By supporting educators, we aim to create classrooms where students excel academically while also building the confidence and perseverance they need to thrive in an ever-changing world.
Our mission is to foster growth mindset, resilience and grit in your students, through creative morning meetings and prompts.
“Resilience has the power to transform a child’s ability to navigate challenges, build confidence, and develop essential life skills.”
